Stepping out into the afternoon sun was like standing too close to a fire. At the same time, I keep getting chills. Very unpleasant it is to be hot and cold at the same time. Anyway, Sluggo hates it as much as I do. Now, I've got the air conditioner on for a while, but not for long. Brain fried with both heat and uncertainty, I have no idea what to say. No deer for weeks now. Maybe it's because the flowers are all dead from lack of water. That's another bill that has gone way too high. I'm so sick of being in this place. I want to go walk around in the fog at the beach, but can't get away. I'm too far inland. Nothing good can come of that. I've always known it.
