rejectomorphThe ads that Google fetches for the banner on my free version of Opera are sometimes interesting. Since I use Google as my home page, I get to see the ads Google thinks are appropriate for someone visiting Google. The one I saw today was for something called Reploogle. This is a service which, for a fee will manipulate Google searches, so your site or business or whatever will appear higher in search results. In their words: "We will effectively push unwanted search results out of the Top 20 and out of visibility." So, Google is advertising a business that manipulates Google. I find that weird.
Today turned quite warm, and everyone has decided to spend the evening mowing their lawns. The neighborhood smells of cut grass and gasoline fumes, which is not a pleasant combination. I think I'll go away until it's over.
