The Not-Anticipated Day

It might get noisy here today, with the paving job going on. That road is only about 400 feet from my window. There will probably be trucks backing up and making that high pitched beeep beeep beeep noise. I don't think there will be jackhammers this time, though. If the noise wakes me up, and the day is as hot as I expect, it might be difficult to get back to sleep. I'll be all punchy and grumpy. Then more of the same tomorrow.

Pale rose sky in the east already. Make it stop!

Every Monday morning serenades me to sleep with the delightful clanging, crushing, and hydrolic squeeking of the friendly neighborhood garbage service. Such peaceful mornings.

(Sorry, this just seemed like the place to complain about noise and mornings, even if it is a bit ill-fit!)

I get the garbage truck on Tuesday mornings. He'll have competition this week.
