rejectomorphIt feels very strange to be multi-tasking. Sluggo would never allow me to do that. And I'm not only multi-tasking, I'm doing it while my toes are warm! The only thing that could be better is if I weren't on this slooooow dial-up connection. The download has been stuck at about 37 minutes for several minutes now, because my ISP's speed keeps dropping. I'm wondering if it's going to drop by 50%, so that when half the file has been downloaded, I'll still have the same amount of time to go that I had when the download started. And then it will drop by another 50%, and another and another, so that it never actually finishes. I will be here multi-tasking for ages! The sun will go nova and earth be burnt to crisp while the last kilobyte is being downloaded! I must get broadband!
Oh, crap. It stopped about a quarter of the way through and I can't get it started again. Firefox has no resume button that I can find. Wait. You hit the pause button and the resume button appears. And then you hit the resume button and nothing happens (except that the pause button reappears.) Well. Failure. 2.7 K was a miserable speed anyway. That's what I get for living at the end of a very, very long telephone line.
