I remember now that you also have a four-digit user number. Scotto's comes 28 digits after yours, so your's must be a few hours older. It's interesting that so many journals were being created on a single day, that long ago.

You must have been among the first twenty people I added to my list, though. As I recall, I found you after I stumbled across Harry's comments on the first ever LJ post (the URL to which is somewhere on Sluggo, so I can't find it right now.)

It is more interesting when a hardcore contingent of 10 or so people on my friends list all registered within a week either side of me. Granted, we all came from the same USENET group so maybe it isn't so suprising.

I remember going back to the first post, in the days of postid's, but that was back when 1,000,000 posts took months to get too, not a few days as it must surely do now. I wonder what post number LJ is up to nowadays?

I shudder to think. I can't remember the last time I saw the Live Stats box on the login page showing fewer than 100 posts per minute. It's a juggernaut of words!
