Normalcy- Rats!
Nov. 16th, 2001 03:21 pmA marbled grey sky, like something painted by Pissarro, squawking birds, splashes of fall color, and everything wet; a typical November day in the northern Sierra. It has about 40 hours to clear up into an un-typical November night if I'm going to see the Leonid meteor shower. This is expected to be a spectacular year for the Leonids. Since I have lived here, the normal weather has prevented me from seeing them almost every year. I hope this year will be one of those rare exceptions, but the weather does not look promising. Humph. I should have moved to the desert instead of the mountains.
