rejectomorphI find myself unable to focus my attention tonight. My brain has wandered off into a room full of shiny objects and can't decide which one to look at. Most of them probably aren't worth looking at in any case-- maybe none of them are-- but even if I discovered one that was worth looking at, I suspect that my attention would soon wander. I have acute ADD!
A trivial fragment:
I've lately found that Paul Dresser, turn-of-the-century composer of such sentimental chestnuts as "On the Banks of the Wabash" and "Back Home in Indiana" was actually John Paul Dreiser Jr., the older brother of novelist Theodore Dreiser.
I'll probably soon forget that.
I wonder what's really bothering me? I mean aside from the fact that I'm a member of a species that is, collectively, at least twice as clever as it is smart?
