rejectomorphHeadache. Probably the result of falling asleep with my head in odd positions a couple of times lately, which has resulted in my neck being more out of joint than usual.
There is furious rain tonight, and treetop winds that howl and roar, but leave the low shrubs almost undisturbed. The power could go out at any time. I don't want to have the computer on for long.
Several acorn woodpeckers were perched on the side of the utility pole this afternoon. They haven't done that very often this year. I enjoyed watching them jockey for position, periodic squabbles breaking out as one or another tried to push past the one just above him. Everybody should have a few acorn woodpeckers around for entertainment.
