Dull

I don't know if there will be more snow or not. The sky has been neither cloudy nor clear all night-- just sort of thick, and looking even colder than the air felt. Most of yesterday's snow has remained on the ground. For a couple of hours last evening I could hear melt-water trickling through the downspout, but the roof remains mostly white. I'm hoping it will all go away today. Thin, crusty snow is my least favorite type. The birds would be happy to have the lawns uncovered for snacking, too.

A bunch of stuff came into my head then went away. That happens a lot lately.

A very strange looking morning out there. I think the sun might be sick.
