I just caught a glimpse of a couple of stars. The clouds are breaking up. They might as well, as they haven't dropped anything for hours. Their presence slowed evaporation and kept things damp, though, and it feels as though we are hanging between winter and spring. I've spent the whole evening neither here nor there, then nor now. The frog chorus just keeps croaking.
