The house cooled off enough to feel clammy, but it's still a bit warm. Warm and clammy is a very unpleasant combination. My neck is creaking, as though it's about to do something again. It doesn't like its current state anymore than I do. I only hope it doesn't decide to turn my head through 360 degrees. I'd be rather disturbed by such an event. I don't want my walls to be green, either.


Oh, that complete collection of The New Yorker on CD ROM is now available on their web site for a mere $49.99. (Note: If you use an earlier version of Opera, don't take the virtual tour of the DVD set they have on the site. It completely takes over the browser, and you can't shut it down without control-alt-delete. What it does to later versions of Opera or to other browsers I don't know.) The price is good, and I'd like to have 80 years worth of a weekly magazine that would take up no more space than an average printed book, but I don't know if I'll buy it. It takes two weeks to arrive, and I'll probably be dead or possessed By the devil before it could be delivered.

my neck cracks too much.

and I figured out how to crack my knee using the desks at school. it's VERY bad!

and now my shoulder cracks.


And you talk alot about Opera. That's a good browser. Do you use Firefox much? I like the tabs, and the extensions.

I need to go get my head yanked on by a chiropractor. Something's been out of place in my neck for over a week now, but I've been putting off having it seen to. I don't mind having lower vertebrae shifted about, but having my neck worked on is very unpleasant. It's also dangerous. But then the headaches are also unpleasant, so I ought to get it fixed (or get my neck broken- either way, the headaches will be gone.)


I do have a copy of Firefox, and I use it frequently for posting to a second journal I have which I use mostly for saving private copies of things I post to message boards, as backups in case the boards get eaten (again.) I like Firefox, most of the time, but it has a couple of weaknesses that I find a bit worse than Opera's weaknesses, and Opera's strengths are in things I find a bit more valuable than Firefox's strengths. I've found Opera a lot better at downloading files, especially image files. I also prefer Opera's integrated e-mail client to Mozilla's Thunderbird. I need to update both browsers, though. I'm still using Opera 7.54, and Firefox 1.0.3.
