Those chirping birds again. The squeaky wheel on the runaway cart birds. This morning they've been joined by a couple of chuckling acorn woodpeckers. The whole lot of them seem awfully happy. But then why shouldn't they. They don't have to go get their heads yanked this afternoon. They didn't forget to put the trash out last night (which is what I have to do right now before I can get to sleep.) Head gets yanked at about four thirty, after another x-ray gets taken.

It's supposed to be a bit cooler today. I certainly hope so.
