rejectomorphWay hotter than I'd want it to be, but I've been through summer nights here that were worse. What worries me is that summer nights that are worse might be coming soon. I guess that's not as bad as getting bombed or hit with a tsunami, but small comfort when I'm trying to get to sleep because I need to get up in a few hours to go have my head yanked. It's turning out that I'm not liking this summer much at all.
Saw a skunk walking up the driveway last night. I only saw it because it steeped on a leaf that cracked and drew my attention, so I turned a flashlight that direction. The skunk glared at me for a moment, then slunk away. The cat saw the skunk, too, but didn't go after it. Apparently she knows better than to go after the kitty with the white stripe.
My joints are as stiff as the morning is sultry.
