Is Advil supposed to knock you on your ass? Because my head felt like it might explode and splatter my brains all over the ceiling at any moment, I took an Advil last night, and a couple of hours later was unable to keep my eyes open. I only slept for three hours, but I've felt dopey ever since I woke. The Advil did stop the hurt for a while, but I think it's wearing off. I'm feeling like something stinky warmed over. I don't want to take another power pill so soon. Back to ordinary aspirin, I guess.

Heat, inside and out. I can't wait to get back to normal. Tired of writing about feeling lousy. Tired of feeling lousy.

i remember the first time i took ibuprofen -- it put me to sleep like a sleeping pill. the effect wore off after a while. but i love it as a painkiller. when i had horrible back pain, it was the only thing that touched it.
