The light today is yellow. There's probably a fine haze in the air, perhaps of dust lifted from parched valley fields from which the crops have lately been harvested. Or maybe it's smog generated by the burgeoning suburbia which is gradually displacing the orchards and vineyards and farms. Or maybe my eyes are going bad. Whatever the cause, it's intensified by the yellowness of the dessicated lawn. I much prefer gray days to yellow days.
I was supposed to be getting my head yanked this afternoon, but the chiropractor canceled. The yanking has been rescheduled for Friday evening. I suppose I'll survive without having my head yanked for an extra four days. I just hope those days aren't all yellow.
