Grasping Reality With Both Hands
Nov. 30th, 2007 11:24 pmEvidence that I'm still way too easily entertained, perhaps, but this just made my day:
If you don't get why, it's probably best not to ask.
It has turned very cold here, though the days remain bright with the clouds confined to great, white heaps towering above the mountains. The high temperatures have been in the fifties for the last couple of days, and the nightly lows have dipped into the thirties, but if rain arrives as expected next Monday then it will get a bit warmer. By then I expect almost all the leaves to be down. Loads of pine needles have fallen, and quite a few cones also litter the ground. December is going start off Decembery! And I'm going to start December off with some hot tea and a windmill cookie!
