There are more birds around here now, especially crows. They must be refugees from the burned areas. It wouldn't surprise me to see a crow war. It wouldn't surprise me to see an epidemic of West Nile Virus. It wouldn't surprise me to find that I've already got West Nile Virus and that's why I'm so tired all the time.

I'm watering the jasmine every night in hope that this may produce a fresh crop of flowers. It worked on the gardenias out front. I'd much rather smell jasmine than gardenia.
