Wintry Again
Dec. 16th, 2010 11:51 pmClouds have formed, but the rain hasn't started yet. Had the clouds gathered sooner, the night might not have gotten so cold. It feels almost cold enough to snow again. Neighbors have responded by lighting their fireplaces, which has filled the night air with smoke. I prefer the scent of living trees to the smell of their burning limbs.
A deer strolled down the street this evening. It was after nightfall, so I didn't get a good look at it, but as I was in my garage with the door open and the light on I'm sure the deer got a good look at me. I wonder if it later told the other deer about seeing a human scraping lint from a dryer filter?
