Reset Forty-Eight, Day Fifty-Six
Apr. 20th, 2023 05:58 amWednesday was probably the last cool day of the season, and I did very little with it. I did a small load of laundry, made four cups of cold brew coffee to keep in a jar in the refrigerator for the upcoming iced coffee season, and then found myself exhausted so took a nap. The exhaustion was in part due to the fact that my laundry wasn't done drying when I went out to collect it, so I walked up and down the driveway a few times while waiting for it. A couple of years ago, or maybe even a few months ago, that much walking would not have bothered me, but this time it not only wore me out but I kept getting leg cramps all evening. I suppose I need more exercise.
Dinner had to wait until after the nap, which stretched out until just after midnight. Since then I haven't felt much like doing anything but listen to music. Sleep has just been hanging around waiting for me, whispering sweet nothingness in my ear. I'm about to listen to it. But first, one more song by Dionne Warwick:
