52/470: Fresher

To celebrate my survival through the recent heat wave, I enjoyed one of the pricey ice cream bars I got on sale at Safeway last week. It helped keep me awake for a while. There has been a whole lot of nodding off lately, usually being done by me, and no matter how much sleep I get it never seems to be quite enough.

I almost fell asleep halfway through making my sandwich for dinner tonight. I was standing there knife in hand waiting for the toast to pop up when I was startled by a metallic clatter, and it turned out to be the knife hitting the floor after somebody (probably me) dropped it. I guess I should be thankful there wasn't any mayonnaise on it yet.
